Indonesia Fashion Week is coming to town
Yippie!

Tahun ini adalah yang ketiga kalinya Indonesia Fashion Week digelar. Tentu para fashion enthusiast tidak mau ketinggalan fashion week ini bukan? 
Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) tahun ini digelar di tempat yang sama seperti tahun lalu, yaitu di Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). IFW digelar selama 4 hari, dari tanggal 20 - 23 Februari 2014. Jangan lupa tandai tanggalnya ya... hehe

Inti konsep yang dibawakan masih sama seperti tahun sebelumnya #LocalMovement. #LocalMovement ini sendiri bertujuan agar masyarakat Indonesia lebih mengenal dan mencintai produk dalam negeri. Produk Indonesia tidak kalah kok dengan produk luar negeri. Selain itu, budaya dan produk khas Indonesia juga ditampilkan dalam acara ini. Namun di IFW tidak hanya menampilkan hasil produk dalam negeri. Banyak brand-brand luar yang juga akan menampilkan produk mereka lho.

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, bumi pun semakin terpuruk dengan adanya polusi dan limbah yang tiada habisnya. Untuk itu, disamping tema #LocalMovement, IFW juga menyusung tema #EcoFashion. Kita juga bisa membantu lingkungan dengan fashion lho. Caranya gampang. Kita bisa mendaur pakaian lama kita menjadi suatu hal yang baru, misalnya tas, bandana, aksesoris, dan masih banyak lagi.

Menjelang Indonesia Fashion Week, hari Minggu (16/2) digelar acara Sunday Dress Up. Para peserta diharuskan memakai produk lokal atau pakaian yang bernuansa Indonesia. Hal ini juga bertujuan agar masyarakat Indonesia lebih bangga memakai produk lokal. Peserta acara ini tidak hanya dari masyarakat Indonesia tapi orang luar negeri pun juga turut memeriahkan acara ini. Simak aja keseruan Sunday Dress Up berikut

    the fashion week seem doing much more effort than in Malayisa
    I never thought the participants will go on the street...that's awesome ^^

Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival (JFFF) - Mini Exhibition

Fiuh... Finally! Finally there's something that I can write for my blog after a loonnngg time. Since my latest post, I didn't know what to write about.
